Re: Error: Greening defined without wall ID "01AGSS" (X wall). Deleting greening

Hi, I checked the small 2.5D model area with a simple SIMX file with only SimpleForcing activated and it ran successfully. I used the latest version available online (from last week). Maybe there was a hidden bug causing that and if you use the newest version it runs. Otherwise, a SIMX option causes...

Re: error

Hi Ella,

The values for the timesteps where both intervals overlap (in your case every 10 minutes) should be the same. If you average all values, there can be differences since the 1 min interval output has more data points.

Re: error

Hi Ella,

Those are old warnings that always are occur. ProfileDB and SourceDB are not implemented in the checking routines as the warning says. Nothing to worry about.

Re: DATA

Hi Ella,

You probably changed the interval of writing outputs in the ENVIguide.

Re: question about CSV file for Full forcing

Hi Tian,

Only have a look at the CSV. There are two commas at the end of each line. They need to be deleted from each line.

Re: Student Version Simulation Time

Hi, Thank you, yes, we are all doing fine, hope you too! The simulation crash cannot be caused because of the internet connection. Connection to the server is only needed for starting the simulation, afterwards no internet connection is needed anymore. Maybe the laptop was restarted because of Windo...

Re: LEONARDO extract data

Hi, If you know those points before the simulation, you could set receptors there. It also saves you time to extract the data for each point. Otherwise, you might check out MapScript function, where you could get specific grid points via script for every timestep loaded. But I don't hink that this i...

Re: Initial meteorological conditions

Hi Li Na, With the Min Max values of the Beginner mode, a SimpleForcing (temperature and humidity values for a 24h cycle) is automatically created in the background. If you want to change the LBC to deprecated LBCs Open or Cyclic in the LBC setting area of the ENVIguide, only the initial meteorologi...

Re: Output variables in Leonardo

Hi,

Well, that is a bit tricky to follow within the source code. I checked it again now and unfortunately both answers are not correct. The output variable Air Temperature in front of substrate holds the same values as Greening: Air temperature canopy.

Re: PET

Hi Ella,

I think you mean Extract Data from Map for several timesteps at a specific point. Check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArjEKtex9Mc&t=650s. It is shown for building outputs but works the same for 2D data as PET.

Hi Merve, I made a simple test with 4 buildings containing different greenery and found that there are differences for all parameters such as air temperature in front of facade, greening canopy temperature or facade temperature: 2020-03-26_09h03_53.png All buildings have the default greening with ai...

Re: Missing Air Temperature data from LEONARDO

Hi,

No, we changed the label from air temperature to potential temperature because that's what it actually is since ENVI-met always calculates with potential temperature at the moment.

Hi, 1. Positive or negative flux of humidity (e.g. evaporation/transpiration of plants substrate), balance at the facade. 2. How much longwave energy is received and emitted at the facade. Summed up and given as a total balance. 3. Temperature of the greenery leaves and temperatur of the air between...

Re: Location of walls on the grid lines

Hi, We need to get a bit more into gridding here. Whole cubes with their size depending on your resolution are considered as building or air or plant. All other database inputs of thicknesses (walls, plants, substrate) are mainly used for the calculation of energy fluxes. Greening as a subgridmodel ...
