Re: Average domain temperature

Dear ENVI-met team I have read all topics about average temperature in a given area. I need to calculate the mean temperature for just outdoor area excluding buildings. Thus I need to calculate them for more than 30 senarios, I need to find a very easy way to do that. I used the script you provided...

Re: Material assignment in Monde VS. Spaces

Hi Tim,

I do exactly the same. I digitized the trees in GIS, then imported them into Monde. As soon as I hit the export modeling button, the Monde closes.
The export dialog attached.

Re: Terminating thread 9380

Hi Tim, Thanks for your reply. It is a bit weird, because I have ran 10 more simulations with the same meteorological and modeling settings and I did not have that problem. Moreover, I am in two mind to change the wind speed. Thus I am simulating existing site. If I change meteorological setting the...

Re: Material assignment in Monde VS. Spaces

Dear Tim, Following your suggestion to do all digitizing in Monde, I tried to digitized trees in Monde too. I have assigned 3d plant to all trees in my interested area. The area is 600x600 m2 with almost 2000 trees. I was trying a couple of time but each time the computer crashed. Does it mean it is...

Re: the temperature, the humidity or the co2 field has become unstable

Dear Tim, I have the same problem. After 25 hours of simulation, "the temperature, the humidity or the Co2" error appeared on my computer. I do not have any single wall. I assigned the material to the "building" in Monde. Moreover, I checked the vertical grids and it was fine. Wh...

Re: SHP file-import problem

Dear Tim,

Yes, you are right. The problem was in GIS not ENVI-met. The data frame system coordination was different from the Shp file. So the red square was not in the right dimension in the first place. It solved now.

Re: SHP file-import problem

Dear Micheal,

Thanks for quick reply. My main problem is the red square in GIS is 700x700m but when I imported that to the Monde It has changed to 548x572m.

SHP file-import problem

Dear ENVI-met team, I had 2 problems when I imported shp files to monde. 1- The shp file contains two squares. The bigger one is 700x700m and it completely sits north-south. But when I tried to draw a subarea, I faced two problems. It seems the Monde slightly rotate that red square. 2- Moreover, the...

Problem visualizing DEM in Leonardo

Dear ENVI-met team I have a problem with DEM. I imported topography from open source in Monde. The maximum height in DEM is 7m. the highest object in the model area is 15m. When I put the k:2 to visualizing air temperature map at the height of 1.5m, the map color changed to the minimum temperature. ...

ENVIGuide Settings

Dear ENVI-met team, I am going to simulate microclimate of 10 different neighborhoods (500mx500m) in a big city and then compare the results. As I found out there are 7 different settings for the ENVIGuide for boundary conditions. Except from beginner level, I am still confused between intermediate ...
