Humidity jump on Full Forcing Graph and terminating thread 4200

Postby arapenko » Tue Aug 20, 2019 11:06 am

Hello all,

I was trying to use the full forcing file into some simulations and i saw some errors.
Firstly, the year is setted automatically to 2018 but i assume that this doesnt affect anything.
Secondly and more important in the full force graph(i am attaching a screenshot for the 2 days of simulations as well as the csv file i used), the humidity shows peaks that shouldnt be there. Furthermore there is a jump at the midnight, from 9.8 to 9.5.
I started a simulation of a model that run smoothly with simple forcing and i got the terminating thread 4200, at midnight (attached picture).
Do you have any idea what might caused this issue? I have the feeling that the csv file is not translated properly.

Best regards,
Takis

Hi,

Yes, the year 2018 is correct. All data is converted to this standard year.
There is no jump in humidity: Half an hour before midnight seems to lack that is why you find that small jump.
The crash is caused by your wind speed. A value below 1 m/s is very hard to handle and a wind speed of 0 m/s is much too low for the model. That is why it crashed at exactely that timestep when the wind speed turns to 0 m/s.

Best regards,
Tim
