Dear ENVI-met team,
I had 2 problems when I imported shp files to monde.
1- The shp file contains two squares. The bigger one is 700x700m and it completely sits north-south. But when I tried to draw a subarea, I faced two problems. It seems the Monde slightly rotate that red square.
2- Moreover, the yellow subarea size is 548x572m which is different from the original one.
How can I solve these problems?
Regards
Sara

Re: SHP file-import problem
I am not quite sure what the problem exactly is..
The subarea is not rotated as you see from the figures. If the size is not or ok, you can resize or move it anytime.
Can you specity what the problem is exactly with the SHP file?
If the size does not match, check the coordinate system. Monde suports Geographic Coordinates (lat long) or any metric system.

Re: SHP file-import problem
Dear Micheal,
Thanks for quick reply. My main problem is the red square in GIS is 700x700m but when I imported that to the Monde It has changed to 548x572m.

Re: SHP file-import problem
Hi Sara,
Then, something went wrong in transformation. Please check that you digitized the red square in the projection UTM of Zone 40 as Monde states here.
Best regards,
Tim

Re: SHP file-import problem
Dear Tim,
Yes, you are right. The problem was in GIS not ENVI-met. The data frame system coordination was different from the Shp file. So the red square was not in the right dimension in the first place. It solved now.
