Can I open the INX file I created with space in rhino

Post by yangshaoqi »

Hi ENVI-met Team,

I want to export ENVI-met 3D models as high-resolution images, but it seems that Space can't do this, so I want to know if I can open INX files directly in Rhino through the plug-in.

Thanks so much!

Best Regards,

Hi Yang,

As far as I know does the tool not allow any loading of INX files.
Spaces shows you the model area in the resolution that you gridded it in. It is thus the resolution the simulation will use. For example, you are running a simulation in 5 m to save computational time but the details of building etc. are not resolved anymore. You could either show the image of this 5 m scenario because that is the way it is simulated or show the picture of the Rhino model (if you exported it from there) to show how it looks like in vector mode (highest resolution). You also export it again in 1 m resolution and take a Spaces image from that high resolution model (while you are still running the 5 m model).

Best regards.
